The winery:
... is a traditional family owned winery, founded
by the wine-grower couple Reinhard and Ingeborg Braun in the late 60ies.
It is located in the village "Nordheim" at the river Main, 25 km away from
Würzburg and the highway "Autobahn A 7". |

Our wines grow in the famous areas of the Main
valley named "Nordheimer Vögelein", "Nordheimer Kreuzberg",
"Volkacher Kirchberg", "Volkacher Ratsherr", Obervolkacher Landsknecht",
"Sommeracher Katzenkopf" and "Sommeracher Rosenberg". Our broad offer of different typical franconian wines covers the white wine types "Silvaner", "Riesling", "Müller-Thurgau", "Bacchus", "Kerner", "Scheurebe" and "Rieslaner". You find also the exclusive red wines "Schwarzriesling", "Spätburgunder", "Dornfelder" and "Domina". The best way to find out the differences is a local a wine taste. |

We
offer hand shaken, franconian "Champagne", which is available in a
"brut" and (very) dry taste. Besides this, different spirits ("Schnaps") from our own distillery are also available. You can choose between different fruit distillates and an excellent Crappa. |
